SEO
Should I invest in SEO or Google Ads?
They solve different problems and the answer is usually both, sequenced. Paid buys immediate volume and stops when you stop paying. Organic lowers acquisition cost over time and compounds. If your conversion path leaks, growing either one multiplies the waste.
Paid search is the right first move when you need to validate demand quickly, when you are entering a new market, or when a specific campaign has a deadline. It gives you data in weeks rather than quarters.
Organic is the right investment when the same queries recur and you will still want them in two years. The economics improve as it compounds, which is the opposite of paid.
The question that precedes both: does your site convert the traffic it already has? Improving conversion applies to every future visitor from every channel, and costs less than acquiring more. Scaling acquisition into a leaking funnel multiplies the leak.
