Long before digital marketing became an industry, we were already building with technology. It started in the 1980s, hands on the circuit boards of some of the first personal computers. As technology moved, we moved with it — from handcrafted websites to search engines to AI-powered business transformation. We didn't reinvent ourselves overnight. We've been evolving for four decades.

Our founders were already engineering and assembling personal computers in the early days of modern computing — learning the machine from the ground up. That technical instinct still defines how Artlogic works today.

Building the machine, not just using it
When most people saw computers as appliances, we saw systems to be understood. Assembling hardware, debugging logic, making the unfamiliar work — that early discipline became a habit of looking deeper than the surface. It's the reason we've never been intimidated by what comes next.
The Web, Handcrafted
As the web emerged, we started designing websites in the early internet era — long before templates or website builders existed. Every page was written by hand, line by line.
A new medium
When every website was written by hand
There were no drag-and-drop builders, no themes to fall back on. Each website was crafted in raw HTML, decision by decision. We helped businesses claim their first foothold online — translating who they were into something the world could finally find. Building from scratch wasn't a constraint. It was how we learned the web's grammar before anyone standardized it.
Visibility Becomes the Game
Search engines rewired the internet. We recognized early that a great website needs to be found, not just admired — so design and discoverability became inseparable.

Beautiful wasn't enough — it had to be found
As search reshaped how people discovered everything, we expanded into SEO, paid search, performance and conversion. Because we built our sites from the ground up, search was engineered into every project from day one — which is why so many of them ranked organically without it ever being an afterthought.

Two people, two cities, one idea
Artlogic began as a two-person freelance studio founded by Vladimir and Peter — one in Montreal, one in Chișinău. The premise was deceptively simple, and it still holds: build websites that don't just look good, they grow businesses.

We became a certified Drupal agency and delivered our first enterprise CMS implementations — stepping up to serve larger organizations with platforms built to scale.
2018 · Canadian growth
From projects to partnerships
We grew our Montreal operations and welcomed our first long-term Canadian retainer clients — a shift from one-off projects toward strategic, ongoing business partnerships.
2020 · Remote by design
One team, two time zones, no seams
We built a fully synchronized international team. Montreal and Chișinău now hand work back and forth across time zones, giving clients near-continuous development, support and momentum — distributed on purpose, not by accident.
2022 · 100 projects milestone
Artlogic Studio, and our 100th delivery
We launched Artlogic Studio and crossed 100 digital projects delivered across industries and international markets — expanding beyond websites into full-service digital growth consulting.
2024 · Headless & future-ready
Composable by default
As an early adopter of Drupal 11, we moved all new enterprise work toward headless-first architecture, API-driven platforms and modern composable development — building for flexibility rather than for a single front end.
