SEO Audits
Most SEO audits are a tool export with a logo on it. A useful audit does the thing the tool cannot: decides which of the four hundred findings actually matter for your business, and says which ones to ignore.
What actually moves the needle
Diagnose the stage that is failing
Crawling, indexing or ranking. A page can be crawled and not indexed, or indexed and never rank. Which stage fails determines what work is worth doing, and it is the first thing to establish.
Prioritise by revenue, not severity
A critical issue on a page nobody visits matters less than a moderate one on your highest-converting template. Tools cannot make this judgment because they do not know your business.
Establish a baseline you keep
What ranks, what converts, what earns links — recorded before any work. Without it no later claim of improvement is verifiable, by you or by us.
Say what to ignore
The most useful section of any audit. An audit with four hundred findings and no prioritisation has transferred the hard work back to you.
Check rendering, not just markup
View source rather than the inspector. A tool that executes JavaScript will report content a crawler may never see.
Widely taught, and wrong
Each of these is still repeated in guides and sold in packages.
“A 100/100 audit score means the SEO is done”
Tool scores measure what tools can measure. A perfect score on a site nobody links to and nothing corroborates changes nothing commercially.
“Fix every finding”
Most findings are noise at your scale. An audit that does not tell you which to skip has not finished the work.
“Free audits are worth what you pay”
Sometimes. A free audit that identifies your actual constraint is genuinely useful; one that generates four hundred findings to justify a proposal is a sales document.
How this site does it
Our own build runs five audits on every commit — sitemap integrity, keyword-intent ownership, site-wide duplicate intent, French-text leakage, and link and orphan checks. Several of them exist because they caught our own mistakes first.
We publish the craft because knowing what to do and having the systems to do it consistently are different problems. If you would rather have it executed than implemented in-house, that is what Technical SEO Audit is for.
Strategy Call
See Exactly Where You Stand.
Every relationship starts with intelligence, not a proposal. A strategy call gives you a clear picture of your AI visibility, search authority, and competitive gaps — and a realistic view of what is achievable.
